Dresses made of flannel with the smocking embroidery technique.
It is one of the most laborious and difficult embroidery techniques to perform. Each gather must be worked with millimeter precision and each stitch is carefully embroidered onto the pleated fabric, in a process that requires time, experience, and enormous artisanal dedication. For this reason, it is an increasingly difficult technique to find nowadays.

Centuries ago, in the fields of England and Wales, this technique was born, created to accompany movement and freedom. Rural workers wore wide, hand-embroidered blouses, where each small pleat provided comfort, elasticity, and beauty to the garment.

Over time, smocking conquered fashion and transformed into a symbol of delicacy, detail, and timeless elegance. Today, that tradition revives in our new blouse.
