Loom-woven top made from pure wool by Doña Laura.

It all started when Carolita said, "These cloths are so lovely; I want to wear them as garments, not just accessories." And so, the idea emerged to create a vest, like an indigenous top but in a winter version, with the entire garment loom-woven. It was challenging because it's not easy to make a garment on a floor loom that turns out well and stylish.

And honestly, we couldn't be happier with the result.

As you'll see, the top is handmade on a LOOM, with pure natural-colored wools.

It can be worn closed or open, depending on personal preference. It's a versatile vest with two uses.

Is it itchy? It's slightly itchy; it's not meant to be worn directly on the skin as a first layer. It should be worn over another garment.

Is it heavy? No, it's not very heavy; it weighs less than a pure wool sweater.

Is it warm? It's very warm and perfect for wearing over dresses, blouses, or thin sweaters.

It pairs well with everything: jeans, trousers, dresses.

It's a timeless, noble, conscious, handmade garment with a story woven by the hands of Doña Laura.
