Woven top made with pure wool by Doña Laura.

It all started when Carolita said, "These cloths are so beautiful, I want to wear them as clothing, not just accessories." And from there came the idea of making a vest, like a native top but in a winter version, and the whole garment woven on a loom. It was difficult because it's not easy to make a garment on a hand loom and have it look good and stylish.

And the truth is, we couldn't be happier with the result.

As you can see, the top is handmade on a LOOM, with pure wools in natural colors.

It can be worn closed or open, depending on personal preference. It's a vest with two uses.

Is it itchy? A little, it's not meant to be worn directly on the skin as a first layer. Instead, wear it over another garment.

Is it heavy? No, it's not very heavy; it weighs less than a pure wool sweater.

Is it warm? It's very warm and ideal for wearing over dresses, blouses, or thin sweaters.

They go with everything: jeans, pants, dresses.

It's a timeless, noble, conscious, handmade garment, with a history intertwined by the hands of Doña Laura.

No two vests are exactly alike, so there may be variations in colors since they are NATURAL WOOLS.
