Clothes that tell stories.
PREVIEW Ss226/27
We return to what really matters: garments that are longed for, that endure over time, that we want to cherish and pass down from generation to generation.
Those garments that are not subject to fashion, that do not tire. Those that remind us of someone, of something, of a place.
Garments with a story. Garments that hold memories, that transcend time and that want to leave a mark on the world.
Little by little we are uploading garments to love again in this coming season: that of rebirth, of the first rays of sun, colors, warmth and all that blossoms again.
Smock Stitch
In a hurried world, where everything seems to have to be immediate,
we choose to slow down. We opt for artisanal techniques: Now more than ever, smock stitch.
Smock stitch is one of the most laborious and difficult embroidery techniques to perform. Each gather must be worked with millimeter precision, and each stitch is carefully embroidered onto the pleated fabric, in a process that requires time, experience, and enormous artisanal dedication. That's why, nowadays, it's an increasingly rare technique to find.
Centuries ago, in the fields of England and Wales, this technique was born, created to accompany movement and freedom. Rural workers wore loose, hand-embroidered smocks, where each small pleat provided comfort, elasticity, and beauty to the garment.
Over time, smock stitch conquered fashion and transformed into a symbol of delicacy, detail, and timeless elegance. Today, that tradition revives in our new blouse.
Each embroidery celebrates the value of handmade craftsmanship and revives an art that spans generations. Light, feminine, and unique, this piece combines history, savoir-faire, and modernity in a truly special garment.
